D-backs reinstate Putz from Disabled List

Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) have reinstated right-handed pitcher J.J. Putz from the 15-day disabled list, according to D-backs' Executive Vice President & General Manager Kevin Towers.

Putz, 36, was placed on the disabled list on August 24 after suffering a dislocated right little finger the previous night while attempting to field Kevin Frandsen's ground ball to end the seventh inning at Citizens Bank Park. Putz is 3-1 with 6 saves and a 2.43 ERA (8 ER in 29.2 IP) in 35 appearances with the D-backs this season, including a 0.57 ERA (1 ER in 15.2 IP) over his last 19 outings.

The D-backs' active roster is at 32.
