Astros Spring Training tickets on sale this Saturday, February 1

2014 Spring Home Opener to Take Place on Sunday, March 2

HOUSTON, TX - Individual tickets for 2014 Astros Spring Training home games will be available for purchase beginning Saturday, February 1, at 9 a.m. CST.

The Astros first home game for the 2014 Grapefruit League season will take place on Sunday, March 2 vs. the Atlanta Braves at 12:05 p.m. (CST) at Osceola County Stadium in Kissimmee, FL. This year marks Houston's 30th season in sunny Kissimmee. Workouts for pitchers and catchers in Kissimmee, which are open to the public at no charge, begin on February 16. Position player workouts begin on February 20.

Tickets can be purchased at the Osceola County Stadium box office (home games only) starting February 1 and online at www.astros.com/SpringTraining. The Osceola County Stadium box office is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EST) and on all game days.

Osceola County Stadium advanced ticket price ranges for individual games are as follows: Dugout Box: $28-$50; Outfield Box: $23-$39; Upper Reserved: $21-$36; Outfield Reserved: $16-$26; Standing Room: $10-$15.

ATTRACTIVE SCHEDULE

The Astros Spring Training schedule includes 13 home dates, with seven of those games landing on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, making it convenient for Houstonians traveling to Florida in March. 

Astros Spring Training games in Kissimmee kick off on Sunday, March 2 as the Astros take on the 2013 N.L. East Champion Atlanta Braves. The Astros then host the A.L. Central Division Champion Detroit Tigers (March 5) immediately followed by the New York Mets (March 6). Before they face off in the 2014 regular season opener at Minute Maid Park, the Astros will take on the New York Yankees in Kissimmee on Saturday, March 8, followed by the Toronto Blue Jays (March 9), the Washington Nationals (March 12) and familiar N.L rivals the St. Louis Cardinals (March 14). The Nationals and Braves return on Sunday and Monday, March 16-17, followed by the Philadelphia Phillies (March 20), the Miami Marlins (March 21) and the St. Louis Cardinals (March 22) for a second time. The New York Mets close out the Spring home schedule on Wednesday, March 26.

ASTROS TO FACE TEXAS RANGERS AT ALAMODOME, ROJOS DEL AGUILA DE VERACRUZ AT MINUTE MAID PARK

Following their Florida schedule of games, the Astros will travel to San Antonio to face off against intrastate rivals the Texas Rangers for two exhibition games on Friday and Saturday, March 28 and 29 at the Alamodome as part of the H-E-B Big League Weekend. Following that series, the Astros will make franchise history by hosting the Rojos del Aguila de Veracruz from the Mexican League at Minute Maid Park for two games on Saturday and Sunday, March 29 and 30 before opening the 2014 season at home vs. the New York Yankees on Tuesday, April 1 at 6:10 p.m. Tickets for all exhibition games are available for purchase at www.astros.com/tickets or by calling 1-877-9ASTROS.

Season ticket prices for all 13 Spring Training games in Florida are as follows: $338 for Dugout Box seats, $273 for Outfield Box seats, $247 for Upper Reserved seats and $208 for Outfield Reserved seats.
