Red Sox to Visit Senior Centers on Valentine's Day

Red Sox Staff to make stops in Lynn, West Roxbury, and Dorchester with World Series Trophies

Red Sox Ambassadors will hand out roses and bring the World Series trophies to visit seniors in Lynn, West Roxbury, and Dorchester on Valentine's Day, an annual tradition that began in 2003 to bring cheer to seniors on the holiday celebrating Saint Valentinus.

The first stop will take place from 9:15-10:15 a.m. at the Life Care Center of the North Shore, located at 111 Burch Street in Lynn, MA.

The Red Sox will then join Mayor Martin J. Walsh from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Irish Social Club in West Roxbury where he will hold his first large senior event since taking office. The Irish Social Club is located at 119 Park Street in West Roxbury.

The day will conclude with a visit to The Standish Village from 2-3 p.m., located at 1190 Adams Street in Dorchester.
