OAKLAND, Calif. - Oakland A's infielder Andy Parrino was claimed off waivers by the Texas Rangers, the club announced today. Parrino was designated for assignment Feb. 27 when the A's acquired infielder Jake Elmore from the Chicago White Sox for cash.
