White Sox Host Annual Weather Day Presented By WGN-TV

Program to Feature Presentation by WGN-TV Chief Meteorologist Tom Skilling

CHICAGO - The Chicago White Sox will host the fifth annual Weather Day, presented by WGN-TV, prior to the game on Wednesday, April 30, when the White Sox take on Detroit at U.S. Cellular Field at 1:10 p.m.

In celebration of Weather Day, chief meteorologist Tom Skilling will host a 45-minute presentation and special Q & A session with fans at 10:30 a.m. Additionally, WGN-TV Morning News weather anchor Demetrius Ivory will throw out the game's ceremonial first pitch.

In order to attend the Weather Day activities, specially-priced tickets are available for purchase at whitesox.com/wgn or by calling (312) 674-1000. Tickets for the event will not be available at the U.S. Cellular Field ticket window.

Fans attending can enter through Gate 5 starting at 9:30 a.m. The presentation will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m.
