Blue Jays activate Lind

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have activated 1B ADAM LIND from the 15-day disabled list and have optioned RHP CHAD JENKINS to Buffalo of the International League (AAA). 

LIND last appeared in a game on April 15 in Minnesota prior to suffering tightness in his lower back. The 30 year-old was hitting .324 at the time of his injury with one home run and six RBI in 13 games. In four rehab games with Dunedin, the left-handed hitter went 4-14 with two doubles and two walks. Lind owns a career .269 average with 141 home runs and 485 RBI in 870 games over nine Major League seasons. 

JENKINS, 26, has appeared in three games for Toronto in 2014, allowing three runs in three innings. In eight games with the Bisons this season, the right-hander has collected two saves and a 2.30 ERA in eight games, including one start.
