Fan Jam & Pirates Charities on ROOT SPORTS Auction Highlight Pirates Fifth Homestand

The Pirates return to PNC Park from a 10-game road trip to host the Milwaukee Brewers and the Chicago Cubs for three games apiece. This homestand will be highlighted by the first Fan Jam of 2014 featuring the Goo Goo Dolls on Saturday, June 7 and the annual Pirates Charities on ROOT SPORTS auction on Tuesday, June 10.

Friday, June 6, 2014 - Pirates vs. Milwaukee Brewers (7:05 p.m.)
• Friday Block Party: Tonight is another Friday Block Party on Federal Street. Fans will enjoy live music featuring Ferris Buehller's Revenge and can party on the street with food and beer sales. Pirates alumni John Smiley will be the special guest bartender at the Budweiser Bar that will be located on Federal Street.
• Singles Night: Tonight is Singles Night at PNC. Tickets are only $25 and include access to a pregame party, seats on the Deck and $10 in loaded value. The pregame event is a chance to meet up with other singles at the private PRE-GAME PARTY presented by Star 100.7 on the Pirates Deck and enjoy music, games, giveaways, and a cash bar serving beer and wine. • Free Shirt Friday: The Pirates popular Free Shirt Friday continues as the first 25,000 fans, with paid admission, will receive a Pirates tee, presented by Point Park University.
• Disability Awareness Night: Tonight is the first of three Disability Awareness Nights at PNC Park. The Pirates would like to invite fans to PNC Park, as they bring people with all types of disabilities together for a Disability Awareness Celebration. Tonight the Pirates will host a special all-inclusive event on Federal Street to launch the celebration series. • Elementary: Pirates left-handed reliever Tony Watson is signing free autographs for fans at the PNC Bank branch in Robinson Towne Center (2101 Park Manor Road) from 9 to 10 a.m.
• Saturday Block Party: Tonight is a Saturday Block Party as fans will enjoy food and beer sales on Federal Street as Pirates alumni Grant Jackson will be the special guest bartender at the Budweiser Bar.
• Goo Goo Dolls Fan Jam: After tonight's game, all fans are encouraged to stay in their seats for a post-game concert featuring Goo Goo Dolls. This is the first show of the 2014 Summer Concert Series at PNC Park. The Pirates are now offering fans the chance to watch any of the 2014 Live Music Concert Series postgame shows from the infield at PNC Park. Sunday, June 8, 2014 - Pirates vs. Milwaukee Brewers (1:35 p.m.) Kids Day
• March for Babies: For the fifth year, Pirates employees, family, friends and community members will take part in the March of Dimes "March for Babies." The march begins at 9 a.m. and new for 2014, the 5K Run for Babies will kick-off an hour before March for Babies. Fundraisers and participants will receive a picnic lunch on Federal Street after the walk compliments of ARAMARK. In addition, each participant to raise a minimum of $50 will receive a ticket voucher good for one complimentary Pirates ticket and each participant will have the opportunity to take a lap around the field on the PNC Park warning track as part of the route. • Kids Day: Come down early and join the fun as the #1 Cochran Family Fun Zone will be open on Federal Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lined up outside PNC Park will be inflatable rides, face painting, information about the Bucaroos Kids Club, presented by Chick-fil-A and more.
• MLB's Play it Sun Smart Day: Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig, the Pittsburgh Pirates, and all of MLB urge fans to Play Sun Smart. For 16 years the American Academy of Dermatology and MLB have teamed up to educate the public on the dangers of sun exposure and to bring awareness to skin cancer prevention and detection. Always remember to apply sun screen, wear sunglasses and put on your Pirates cap.

• ROOT Auction: Tonight the Pirates are proud to again partner with ROOT SPORTS to host the Pirates Charities on ROOT SPORTS Auction at PNC Park in the Rivertowne Brewing Hall of Fame Club. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the telecast begins at 6 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on Pirates autographed, game-worn black jerseys with the specially designed digital camouflage lettering and numbering being worn on the field tonight. • Beer Passport: Beer Passport ticket holders 21-and-older are invited to a 90-minute beer sampling event in Club 3000 that begins when gates open at 5:30 p.m. For more information and to order tickets, visit pirates.com/beerpassport.
• 65 Roses: The Pirates, along with broadcasters Greg Brown and Steve Blass, will host the first 65 Roses Club night of the 2014 baseball season. The 65 Roses Club is a group of Pirates fans who have joined together to raise funds to fight cystic fibrosis. By making a pledge to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for every home run the Pirates hit, these fans have the opportunity to meet Pirates players at private pre-game receptions. After the receptions, everyone can enjoy the game to cheer on the Bucs! The club gets its name from the way a child often learns to say "cystic fibrosis," which sounds like "sixty-five roses." It is a national sports program supported by teams in all areas of athletics, including baseball, football, basketball, hockey and soccer, to help raise funds to fight cystic fibrosis.

College Student Discount
For select games during the 2014 season, students with a valid college email address will receive a special discount off the advance ticket price of select games. To receive the code, college students may simply fill out the form at pirates.com/student. Each code is valid for up to fourteen tickets.

Vote Pirates
Voting has begun for the 2014 MLB All Star game in Minnesota and to encourage fans to vote for their favorite Buccos, the Pirates are offering extra incentives to cast ballots. Fans voting for their favorite Pirates can take advantage of a special buy one, get one free ticket offer. The Pirates want fans to vote early and vote often. Fans are now able to vote a maximum of 35 times online with the 2014 All-Star Game MLB.com Ballot. Online voting ends July 3 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Military Ticket Discount
The Pirates are proud to team up with GovX.com to offer discounted tickets to active-duty, reserve, veteran, and retired service members and their families. Dynamic Pricing Section
The Pirates popular dynamic pricing system is back in 2014 and includes both the Bleacher Reserve and Upper Bleacher Reserve sections of PNC Park. Tickets for the 2,400 seats, located in left field, will be placed on sale 10-days prior to each home game. The initial ticket price will then be adjusted- both lower and higher- in real time, based on several factors.
