Twins option Pinto to Triple-A Rochester

The Minnesota Twins announced after today's game that they have optioned catcher Josmil Pinto to Triple-A Rochester. In 43 games for the Twins, Pinto hit .222 (30-for-135) with four doubles, seven home runs, 16 RBI and 20 walks.

To replace Pinto on the 25-man roster, the Twins will make a corresponding roster move prior to Friday night's game in Detroit.
