Marlins to host six-game homestand against the Oakland Athletics and Philadelphia Phillies

The Miami Marlins begin their seventh homestand of the 2014 campaign on Friday, June 27, with a three-game, weekend series against the Oakland Athletics. Following an off-day on Monday, the Marlins host the Philadelphia Phillies for three games, marking Miami's last home series before the All-Star break.

The homestand features the final Saturday Spectacular summer concert as the Venezuelan reggaeton duo Chino y Nacho take the stage on June 28, which is also Venezuelan Heritage Day presented by Bacardi. On June 29, the Marlins will celebrate Youth Soccer Day as kids and coaches in uniform will be able to parade around the field before the first pitch. The first 15,000 fans will receive a Miami Marlins Replica Soccer Jersey courtesy of Pepsi. Following the game, guests can enjoy a FIFA World Cup watch party in the West Plaza as Costa Rica plays Greece in the Round of 16.

The Marlins will also be hosting their first Social Media Night for fans on July 1. Fans who purchase the ticket package receive a ticket, an @Marlins social media T-shirt and a behind-the-scenes tour of Marlins Park. In addition, the Twitter play-by-play will be done through the "eyes" of the fans as the @Marlins account will retweet fans as a way to tell the narrative of the game on social that evening.

Also during the homestand, the Marlins will have Nickelodeon Night at Marlins Park on July 2. The ticket special includes a baseline reserved seat and an exclusive Nickelodeon giveaway; a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. During the game, Nickelodeon will be set up on the Promenade Level, hosting several games throughout the night featured on Marlins Vision. Kids will have the chance to participate in games, cast their votes for the Kids' Choice Sports Awards, win Nickelodeon prizes and get slimed.
