Red Sox sign ninth-round Draft selection
Club has signed all 21 selections within the top 20 rounds
BOSTON, MA - The Boston Red Sox have signed ninth-round selection Kevin Steen, a right-handed pitcher out of Oak Ridge High School in Tennessee. The club has now signed each of its 21 selections within the first 20 rounds of the 2014 June Draft. Director of Amateur Scouting Amiel Sawdaye made the announcement.
In all, 30 of the 41 players selected by Boston in the 2014 June Draft have been signed to contracts.
