White Sox and Comcast Sportsnet Chicago to broadcast from the 'K Zone'

CSN goes "In the Zone with Hawk & Stone" for August 6 broadcast from the stands at u.s. Cellular field; one fan can win opportunity to sit with broadcasters for a half inning

The Chicago White Sox and Comcast SportsNet (CSN) Chicago will host "In the Zone with Hawk & Stone," game broadcast on Wednesday, August 6, as White Sox ace Chris Sale takes the mound vs. Texas at 1:10 p.m.

White Sox announcers Ken "Hawk" Harrelson and Steve Stone will broadcast the game from the "K Zone" in Section 154 (broadcast date is subject to change per any modifications in the White Sox pitching rotation).

"In my opinion, there are few things better than taking in a game from the stands at U.S. Cellular Field," said Harrelson. "And I am thrilled to have the opportunity to go out there and experience the K Zone alongside Stoney and some great White Sox fans."

One fan will have the opportunity win a pair of tickets to the K Zone and sit with the broadcasters for a half inning through CSN Chicago's "Experience the K Zone with Hawk and Stone" contest. Fans can enter the contest by sharing why they love the White Sox with "#SoxLove" on Twitter or Instagram and tagging @CSNChicago. The contest ends at 11 p.m. on Sunday, August 3. Additional details about this contest are available at csnchicago.com/SoxLove.

The "K Zone For Sale" is a ballpark promotion launched this season in Sections 154 and 155 - a total of more than 930 seats. When Chris Sale starts, fans with tickets in these sections receive a "K Zone For Sale" t-shirt and strikeout placard, which are redeemed at the #SoxSocial Lounge before the end of the first inning.

"K Zone" tickets are $20 for the August 6 game and are available at whitesox.com/kzone. Fans also can purchase tickets to White Sox games at whitesox.com, the U.S. Cellular Field ticket office and through Ticketmaster.
