30% savings off tickets for Aug 12-18 homestand at Citi Field due to 30 strikeouts by Mets pitching during Aug 8-11 at Philadelphia

New York Mets pitching recorded 30 strikeouts in their four-game series at Philadelphia, which concluded this afternoon, resulting in 30% off the box office ticket price for select seats during the upcoming August 12-18 homestand when the Mets host the Nationals and Cubs at Citi Field.

For each strikeout recorded by Mets pitching in the popular "Strikeouts for Savings" promotion during this latest series at Philadelphia, fans are rewarded with 1% off the box office ticket price during this seven-game homestand beginning Tuesday night, August 12 vs. the Nationals.  

Fans will save on the purchase price on tickets to games August 12-18 for the following sections: Baseline Box, Left Field Landing and Promenade Outfield. Tickets for this promotion are on sale beginning today, August 11 at Mets.com/Strikeouts.

Tickets also will be available over the phone Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., or until the end of the fifth inning on home game days, by calling 718-507-TIXX. The offer concludes Monday, August 18 at 2:00 p.m. All prices will round to the nearest dollar using traditional rounding techniques and ticket, order and delivery fees still apply.
