NL West showdown coming as the Dodgers take on division rival San Francisco Giants in a three-game series starting monday

The first-place Dodgers' 11^th and final homestand of the regular season begins with a three-game series against the National League West rival San Francisco Giants with the division title at stake: Monday, Sept. 22 at 7:10 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 7:10 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 7:10 p.m. All auto gates open at 4:30 p.m. and all stadium gates open at 5:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

The Dodgers encourage fans to stage a #DodgerBlueOut at Dodger Stadium during the series with the Giants. Elements to be a part of the #DodgerBlueOut promotion include urging all fans to wear Dodger blue; all merchandise will be discounted 20% at all stadium retail locations beginning Monday; blue balloons at stadium entrances; face painting and photo booths with blue props; seat upgrades for fans in their bluest-blue outfits; a special Blue Heaven dog; Blue Margaritas; Tommy Lasorda birthday celebration Monday. For the series against the Giants, Levy Restaurants will offer a special extreme loaded dog, the Blue Heaven Dog, an all-beef hot dog topped with blue cheese, coleslaw and chopped applewood smoked bacon. It will be available Monday through Wednesday at extreme loaded dog concession stands on the Field, Loge and Reserve levels.

In addition to airing all remaining regular-season games on SportsNet LA, Time Warner Cable will broadcast the final week of Dodger games on KDOC, an independent broadcast station that is carried by every cable, satellite and telco provider in Southern California and can also be received over the air with an antenna. The Dodgers will recognize Clayton Kershaw's June 18 no-hitter Monday with a commemorative pin. The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive a Clayton Kershaw no-hitter commemorative pin presented by 76. Hall of Fame Manager and Special Advisor to the Chairman Tommy Lasorda along with his family will partake in the ceremonial first pitch in celebration of his 86^th birthday. Frank Sinatra Jr. will perform the national anthem.

Also during pregame ceremonies, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) will recognize more than 700 California Masons and their friends and family to announce a 2015 partnership with the Masons-4-Mitts Program. The organization will be represented on field by Deputy Grand Master Russ Charvonia and Executive Vice President, California Masonic Foundation Doug Ismail. Beginning April 2015, Southern California Freemasons will conduct a friendly competition during the Dodgers' season creating regional "teams" with a goal of raising money for the children in the Dodgers RBI program - $20 at a time - to give them the simple, but meaningful gift of their own high quality baseball mitt.

Dodger Alumni League member Mickey Hatcher will sign autographs in the right-field pavilion plaza and Alumni Leaguer Derrel Thomas will sign autographs in the left-field pavilion plaza from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A DJ will provide musical entertainment in the right-field pavilion plaza. The Veteran of the Game presented by Bank of America is U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer Miguel Mata of Los Angeles. Mata enlisted in 1996 and serves as Chief Hospital Corpsman with Fleet Surgical Team Three in San Diego. He is responsible for training enlisted sailors and ensures they maintain their skill sets by working in various military medical clinics in San Diego. Mata's deployments include Baghdad, Iraq, and he recently returned from serving onboard the USS Boxer for operations in the Western Pacific, Arabian Sea, Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. His accolades include the Combat Action Ribbon and three Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, one with a combat distinguishing device for valor. 

The Dodgers will play host to their second and final Cheer Night event of the 2014 season. Prior to the game, 20 of Southern California's most elite teams will showcase their talents in a special pre-game performance in front of more than 3,000 family and friends.

Now through Sept. 29 fans can bid on autographed game-used LA Dodger jerseys from players and coaches worn during the Dodgers' 7-2 victory at Dodger Stadium on Sept. 7 against the Diamondbacks. Major League Baseball and Chevrolet, the official vehicle of MLB, announced that Clayton Kershaw was named the Los Angeles Dodgers' 2014 nominee for the prestigious Roberto Clemente Award presented by Chevrolet. Kershaw, who won the 2012 Roberto Clemente Award, is one of the 30 Club finalists for the annual Award, which recognizes a Major League Baseball player who best represents the game of baseball through positive contributions on and off the field, including sportsmanship and community involvement. Kershaw will be recognized pregame on Tuesday.

The Veteran of the Game presented by Bank of America is U.S. Army Captain Stephen Shaw of Lakewood. Shaw joined the National Guard in 2003. He was commissioned into the Army and active duty service in 2010 after serving a deployment in Kosovo. Among his numerous jobs, Shaw served as a combat advisor in Afghanistan as part of a 12-man team that trained and worked side-by-side with an Afghan Army Infantry Battalion in the Ghazne Province. He also served as a company commander responsible for 120 soldiers and their families. Shaw's accolades include the Army Commendation Medal and the Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan Campaign Medals.

On Wednesday, the Dodgers take on the Giants at 7:10 p.m. to conclude the three-game series. All auto gates open at 4:30 p.m. and all stadium gates open at 5:00 p.m.  Legendary Laker Elgin Baylor will throw the ceremonial first pitch in celebration of his 80^th birthday which was on September 16. The U.S. Air Force A Capella Band will perform the national anthem.

The Bryan Brothers, identical twins and American professional doubles tennis partners, will throw an honorary first pitch. Camarillo natives Bob and Mike Bryan, the No. 1 doubles team on the ATP World Tour, recently became the first team in men's tennis to win 100 titles together, including 16 grand slams, at the US Open. They have finished as the No. 1 team in the world nine times.

The Veteran of the Game presented by Bank of America is U.S. Air National Guard, U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Patricia Murray of Agoura Hills. She flies a C-130 J Super Hercules aircraft as an instructor and Aerial Fire Fighting Pilot for the 115th Airlift Squadron. Murray has flown five tours of duty in the Middle East and has been awarded five flying Air Medals. She was inducted into the Order of Daedalians, a WWI flying organization and named California Air National Guard Field Grade Officer of the Year.

Making Strides against Breast Cancer is the American Cancer Society's community walk to raise awareness and funds to fight against breast cancer and they will be on hand Wednesday. The funds raised through these walks are used towards breast cancer research, the implementation of free-patient programs and services and the support for our breast cancer survivors. Local breast cancer survivors will be recognized pregame in order to raise awareness about Making Strides walks happening throughout Los Angeles in October. The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation 5K Run and Kids Fun Run presented by your SoCal Honda Dealers will be held Sunday at Dodger Stadium. The 5K registration for the LADF 5K Run and Kids Fun Run is open online at www.dodgers.com/5K. Fans can register for the 5K Run for $50 and just $25 for the Kids Fun Run. The 5K Run course includes views of Dodger Stadium, downtown Los Angeles, a cool-down run around the Dodger Stadium warning track and appearances by Dodger Alumni League members. The Kids Fun Run will take place on the Dodger Stadium warning track. Awards will be given to top participants in male and female categories. Each LADF 5K Run and Kids Fun Run participant will receive a Dodger tech shirt and medal. All proceeds will benefit LADF and its programs in sports and recreation, education and literacy and health and wellness which help children and families throughout the greater Los Angeles region.

The Dodgers' auto gates are open 2.5 hours before game time and the stadium gates are open two hours before the scheduled first pitch. Fans taking advantage of this early arrival time can enjoy various family-friendly activities as soon as gates open throughout Dodger Stadium, including in the newly enhanced right and left-field pavilion plazas which feature the Budweiser and Bud Light bullpen overlook bars and the new Tommy Lasorda Trattoria and the Think Blue BBQ.
