2014 Cubs Summer Camps enrollment now open

Kids ages 5-to-13 receive professional instruction, meet and greet with a Cubs player, full Cubs uniform, Wrigley Field tour and more

Enrollment is now open for 2014 Chicago Cubs Summer Camps taking place in the greater Chicago metropolitan area. Beginning the week of June 23, the Cubs will host a total of six one-week sessions in Lake Forest (June 23-27), Aurora (July 7-11), Palatine (July 21-25), Lisle (July 28-Aug. 1), Evanston (Aug. 4-8) and New Lenox (Aug. 11-15). Each camp is priced at $399 per week, which includes a tour of Wrigley Field and a meet and greet with a member of the 2014 Chicago Cubs.

"We're excited to build off the first two years of this program and offer our families a first class summer camp at top-rated facilities here in the Chicago area," said Brendan Sullivan, director of Cubs Summer Camps. "The combination of on-field skill work coupled with exclusive access to the team delivers an unforgettable summer experience to all that attend."

Cubs Summer Camps are available to boys and girls between the ages of 5-to-13, with each camper receiving a full Cubs uniform. The camp offers children four days of on-field skill development and professional instruction along with one day at Wrigley Field during a Cubs home game day. At Wrigley Field, campers will participate in a question-and-answer session, photo opportunity and receive the autograph of a current Cubs player in addition to a private guided tour of the ballpark.

At each location, Cubs Summer Camps will again utilize video analysis for older campers in an effort to further develop of the ballplayers' fundamental baseball skills. The camps also feature innovative instructional curriculum and differentiated practice based on each young player's grade and skill level.
