8th Annual Marty Brennaman Golf Classic raises $275,000

CINCINNATI (Sept. 25, 2012) - The Reds Community Fund has announced the 8th annual CBTS Marty Brennaman Golf Classic, which took place at Belterra Casino Resort on Sept. 23-24, raised a total of $275,000 for the Reds Community Fund.

Hosted by Hall of Fame broadcaster Marty Brennaman, over 40 celebrities and 200 golfers participated in this year's event that included two golf scrambles and a Sunday night dinner and concert.

Proceeds from the event support the baseball and softball-themed outreach programs of the Reds Community Fund.

Since its inception in 2005, the Marty Brennaman Golf Classic has raised more than $1,725,000 for the Reds Community Fund.

The event was hosted by Cincinnati Bell Technology Solutions and presented by Cintas and Paycor.

The Sunday night dinner was hosted by Dr. Tim Kremchek and Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, and included a surprise appearance by former Reds manager Lou Piniella.

The Switzerland County Council presented the Sunday concert featuring "7Bridges - The Ultimate Eagles Experience" at Belterra's CenterStage Showroom.
