Adrian, Dee rest as Dodgers shuffle lineup

LOS ANGELES -- Adrian Gonzalez, Dee Gordon, Carl Crawford and Tim Federowicz were not in the Dodgers starting lineup on Wednesday night.

Manager Don Mattingly said Gonzalez, slowed last week by the flu, was fine, just getting a rest. The same for Gordon, who was feeling no lingering effects from banging his head on Jayson Nix's knee on a head-first slide stealing third base on Tuesday night.

Gonzalez has a .296 lifetime average against Philadelphia's left-handed starter Cole Hamels. Gordon is 0-for-6 with three strikeouts. Crawford is 3-for-9 with a double and homer.

Scott Van Slyke started for Gonzalez at first base, Justin Tuner at second base for Gordon, Andre Ethier in left field for Crawford and Drew Butera caught for Federowicz.

Ethier, Josh Beckett and J.P. Howell all reported feeling better after battling cold/flu symptoms for the past week.
