Angels return home Monday to begin seven-game homestand against Tampa Bay and Texas

The Angels return home for a seven-game homestand beginning with a four-game set against the A.L. Wild Card-leading Tampa Bay Rays Monday night at 6:05 p.m. The 11th homestand of the season concludes Sunday, September 8th after a three-game weekend series against the first place Texas Rangers (Friday, September 6 - Sunday, September 8). Below is a look at the promotions, giveaways, events & ceremonies taking place at Angel Stadium during the homestand.

PROMOTIONS

• Friday, September 6th is the 12th Big Bang Friday of the season at Angel Stadium presented by Wells Fargo. At the conclusion of the game, fans are invited to stay and enjoy a spectacular fireworks display.

• Live Music in the Garden, presented by Budweiser, will also continue this homestand with Dead Ringer performing from 5:30 - 6:45 p.m. at the Gate One Music Garden before Friday night's game.

• Saturday, September 7th is Fiesta Angels 2013 presented by State Farm & Pepsi. The event is free and open to the public from 12-5:30 p.m. in the Angel Stadium parking lot before the Halos take on the Rangers at 6:05 p.m. Fiesta Angels 2013 is slated to feature musical performances by Latino Artists, select Angel player appearances, food, drinks, beer garden, games and activities for kids and sponsor booths and giveaways.

• Salute to Kids Day is set to take place on September 8th. Upon entrance to the stadium, all kids will be entered into a drawing to win special prizes, while select fans will take the field with the Angels, serve as the junior Public Address announcer, be part of the Strike Force team, throw out the ceremonial first pitch and act as honorary play ball kids.

• Friends & Family Fun Packs will continue to be offered for all seven games as a combination ticket and concession package. Angels Friends & Family Packs are only $59 in View All-Star, Lower View Box, Right Field Pavilion and Right Field Pavilion Wheelchair seating areas. The package is also available for $44 in Upper View. Friends & Family Packs include four tickets, four hot dogs and four small soft drinks and are available for purchase at angels.com and at the Angel Stadium ticket windows.

GIVEAWAYS (while supplies last)

• Fans will receive a Sport Chalet mystery card on September 3rd and an Oakley Discount scratcher on September 7th.

• Upon entrance to the game on Sunday, September 8th, fans will receive a PrepareSoCal Rally Towel, courtesy of Edison International.

NOTABLE CEREMONIES

• On Thursday, September 5th, Bobby Knoop will be inducted into the Angels Hall of Fame. Hosted by club broadcaster Victor Rojas, the ceremony is slated to feature Angel Hall of Famers Rod Carew, Chuck Finley, Jim Fregosi, Bobby Grich and Brian Downing. Also participating in Thursday's ceremony will be Arte and Carole Moreno, along with Jackie Autry and long-time Angel employees Susan Weiss and John Moynihan. Knoop won three-straight Rawlings Gold Glove Awards® at second base and was selected to the 1966 American League All-Star team during his tenure with the Angels from 1964-1969. Weiss is in her 50th season working in the Halos ticket office, while Moynihan has been with the club in several capacities since the inaugural season in 1961.
