Asdrubal day to day with left knee strain

ST. PETERSBURG -- Rays shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera exited Tuesday night's 6-3 win against the Yankees with a left knee strain. X-rays were negative, leaving Cabrera's status as day to day.

Cabrera appeared to tweak his knee when he swung at a ball and winced while batting in the bottom of the fourth. Nick Franklin replaced him in the field in the top of the fifth. Franklin hit a two-run homer in the sixth to give the Rays a 4-3 lead.
