Astros to open spring schedule on March 3

Pitchers and catchers report Feb. 18; position players Feb. 22

The Houston Astros' Spring Training schedule, which includes 28 games in Florida and two exhibition games at Minute Maid Park, was announced Monday.

Pitchers and catchers will report to Kissimmee, Fla., on Feb. 18, and position players arrive on Feb. 22.

The 2016 season will be the Astros' 32nd and final year at the Osceola County Complex as the organization will move to West Palm Beach in 2017.

The Astros open their Grapefruit League slate on the road with a game against the Phillies on March 3, and play the first of 13 home games on March 4 against the Cardinals.

Following the game against the Cardinals, the Astros will host the Mets and Blue Jays on consecutive days. Prior to the season opener at Yankee Stadium on April 4, Houston will host the Brewers for two games at Minute Maid Park on March 31 (7:10 p.m. CT) and April 1 (1:10 p.m.)

Single-game tickets will go on sale Jan. 30 at www.astros.com/spring.
