Atlanta Braves Make Spring Roster Moves

The Atlanta Braves trimmed their spring roster by six players today, as two players were optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett and four were re-assigned to minor league camp.

Left-handed pitcher Ian Thomas and infielder Elmer Reyes were optioned to Gwinnett, while right-handed pitcher Matt Capps, catchers Yenier Bello and Tanner Murphy and infielder Johan Camargo were re-assigned.

Atlanta now has 60 active players remaining in its Major League camp. The Braves begin the 2015 campaign on Monday, April 6, at Miami (4:10 p.m., SportSouth).
