"Baseball from the Beginning: Tampa Bay" premieres on Sun Sports

Today, the Tampa Bay Rays are scheduled to premiere "Baseball from the Beginning: Tampa Bay," an original four-part series by Sunburst Productions about the people, communities and cultures that have contributed to the history of baseball in our region. FOX's Sun Sports, the statewide television home of the Tampa Bay Rays, will debut "Part 1: The Birth of Baseball" tonight after the "Rays Live" postgame show.
"Baseball is part of the fabric of our community," said Rays President Brian Auld. "It is our honor to produce this series which celebrates the history of our national pastime in the Tampa Bay region."

Sunday, June 28 - Noon
Sunday, June 28 - 5 p.m.
Tuesday, June 30 - 5:30 p.m.
This series of programs will highlight a rich tradition that began more than a century ago and will feature interviews with historians as well as professionals and local legends of the game.
