Atlanta Braves Alumni Weekend August 8-10 will feature special ceremony for newly inducted National Baseball Hall of Fame members Bobby Cox, Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux

The 2014 Atlanta Braves Alumni Weekend will welcome a large number of former Braves players and a special tribute to the newly enshrined National Baseball Hall of Fame members Bobby Cox, Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux during the series with division rivals the Washington Nationals August 8-10.

"This is one of Braves Country's favorite weekends," said Braves President John Schuerholz. "It's a wonderful time for our alumni and our fans to reminisce and reflect on the wonderful memories these players created."  

The new National Baseball Hall of Fame Plaques of Bobby Cox, Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux are on loan from Cooperstown and will be part of Alumni Weekend. On Friday, they will be on the field during the pregame ceremony. Saturday and Sunday they will be available for fans to view in the Home Plate Patio.

Friday, August 8 (7:25 first pitch)

5:30-6:30 - autograph stations will be set up around the ballpark

7:00 - we are asking fans to be in their seats early so they don't miss the special pregame ceremony recognizing the newly enshrined National Baseball Hall of Fame members Bobby Cox, Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux

Saturday, August 9 (7:10 first pitch)

4:00 - Gates open early for the Braves Legends Softball Game

4:30-5:10 - Alumni will take batting practice

5:30-6:30 - Braves Legends Game

Sunday, August 10 (8:05 first pitch)

6:00-7:00 - Alumni will be stationed around the ballpark to take photos with fans
