Atlanta Braves and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Invite Fans to "Pay it Forward"

The Atlanta Braves join Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) in recognizing National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month during "Pay it Forward" Night at Turner Field. Joining the fight against childhood cancer, the Braves are offering discounted tickets to the September 15 matchup vs. the San Diego Padres at 1:35 p.m. For each "Pay it Forward" ticket sold, $5 will be donated to CHOA to support their fight for a cure. Immediately following the game, the Braves invite all children 14 and under to take the field for Kids Run the Bases.

In recognition of the incredible support Tim and Kim Hudson and their foundation, The Hudson Family Foundation, has provided CHOA, Tim will be presented with oversized "Get Well Soon" cards. Each card was hand-crafted by staff and patients and includes hundreds of personalized well-wishes. On behalf of seven-year-old bone marrow transplant patient, Lake Bozeman, Tim will be presented with Lake's "Beads of Courage." A CHOA representative will give Lake's own Beads of Courage that he has put together over the course of his treatment, along with his personalized card encouraging Tim to "Stay Strong!"

Tickets for "Pay it Forward" are $35 for Club Reserved seats, $23 for Outfield seats and $15 for Upper Box seats. Each ticket includes a $5 donation to CHOA. To purchase tickets, please visit www.braves.com/payitforward.
