Braves release winter caravan schedule

ATLANTA -- With the start of Spring Training less than seven weeks away, the Braves are once again set to send some of their players, coaches and broadcasters to visit fans in various cities throughout the Southeast.

The seventh annual Braves Country Caravan, presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors, will begin with a Jan. 20 trip to Warner Robbins, Ga., and conclude with a Jan. 31 stop in Athens, Ga. There will also be stops in South Carolina (Spartanburg and Columbia), Alabama (Birmingham and Montgomery), Tennessee (Chattanooga) and three other Georgia cities (Cartersville, Augusta and Atlanta).

"Our entire organization looks forward to the Braves Country Caravan because it gives us the chance to get out into the community and show fans our appreciation," Braves president John Schuerholz said. "Meeting Braves fans from all over the Southeast who have come to see us outside of the ballpark reminds us this game is about connecting with people, and it is the perfect way to head into Spring Training."

Later this month, the Braves will announce which players, coaches and broadcasters will be scheduled to appear at these various stops.

The caravan schedule is available at braves.com/caravan.
