Brewers Community Foundation celebrates $5 million milestone of 50/50 Raffle

Press Conference Set For Tuesday at Milwaukee's Miracle League Field

Brewers Community Foundation (BCF) will mark $5 million in gross revenue raised in the BCF 50/50 Raffle at a press conference on Tuesday, September 3rd at 1 p.m. at Milwaukee's Miracle League Field (9050 Swan Road in Milwaukee (91st Street and Brown Deer Road).

The BCF 50/50 Raffle is currently in its fourth season. The raffle eclipsed the $1 million mark for the 2013 season on July 7-the earliest date that milestone has been reached since the inception of the raffle in 2010.

Now in its fourth season, tickets for the BCF 50/50 Raffle are sold for just $2 throughout Miller Park from the time gates open during every Brewers home game. For each game, half of the net proceeds are given to a lucky fan and the other half benefits Brewers Community Foundation. Some of the non-profit programs previously supported by the Foundation include Arts at Large, Beckum Stapleton Little League, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, COA Youth and Family Services, Felix Mantilla Little League, Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast, Hunger Task Force, Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity, Make-a-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin, Sojourner Family Peace Center, Susan G. Komen of Southeast Wisconsin, UPAF, United Way, YMCA of Metropolitan Wisconsin, and YWCA.

Through Brewers Community Foundation, Mark and Debbie Attanasio continue their pledge to have the Milwaukee Brewers serve as leaders in the community. The BCF 50/50 raffle provides one of many opportunities to make a difference. Brewers Community Foundation harnesses the pride, passion and commitment of Brewers fans, players and other supporters to positively impact the lives of children and their families in Greater Milwaukee and Wisconsin.
