In addition, SiriusXM Radio will broadcast play-by-play coverage of the event live on MLB Network Radio (XM channel 89; Sirius channel 209). MLB.com will also provide complete coverage before, during and after the game. While he's currently on the 7-day disabled list, Reyes -- pitching for Class A Advanced Palm Beach -- leads all of the Minors with an average of 13.4 strikeouts per nine innings. The Dominican Republic native is 2-5 this season with a 2.08 ERA. He's struck out 90 and walked 30 in 60 2/3 innings.

At 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, Reyes can rev his fastball up to 100 mph, but he usually works in the mid-90s. He also features a power curveball.

The Cardinals signed Reyes out of the Dominican Republic in 2012 for $950,000. Prior to that, he spent his high school junior season at Elizabeth (N.J.) High School as a third baseman.

Safe to say though, pitching was the right choice. In 21 starts last season for the Class A Peoria Chiefs, Reyes racked up 137 strikeouts in 109 1/3 innings while going 7-7 with a 3.62 ERA. In his past 10 outings this season, he holds a 1.79 ERA and has struck out 70 in 50 1/3 innings. Reyes recorded a season-high strikeout total of 13 during his last start on June 17.
