Cleveland Indians announce Sept. 11 game vs. Tigers postponed

Game will be made up as part of traditional doubleheader Sept. 13 beginning at 1:10 p.m.; Sept. 11 ticket holders can attend both games of Sept. 13 doubleheader with exchange at Progressive Field Ticket Office; For fans unable to attend Sept. 13 doubleheader, Sept. 11 tickets can be exchanged for one of two other eligible games: October 2 or October 3

Cleveland, OH -- The Cleveland Indians announced that Friday's game vs. Detroit has been postponed and will be made up as part of a traditional doubleheader on Sunday, September 13 beginning at 1:10PM. Gates will open at 11AM.

Fans holding tickets to the Sept. 11 postponed game who want to attend the Sept. 13 doubleheader must exchange their tickets at the Progressive Field Ticket Office, for a ticket dated Sept. 13. All those holding Sept. 11 tickets who exchange for a Sept. 13 ticket will be able to see both games for the price of one. The ballpark ticket office will open at 10AM Saturday and 9AM Sunday.

Note: There will be no Dollar Dog night available for Sunday's doubleheader. Originally scheduled Friday fireworks will be shifted to Friday, Oct. 2.

Fans holding tickets dated Sept. 11 and who cannot attend the Sept. 13 doubleheader can exchange by Sept. 25 for one of two eligible games - October 2 or October 3. Visit Indians.com/ScheduleChanges for exchange information based on method of purchase.

Both games of Sunday's doubleheader will be broadcast by SportsTime Ohio. Both games will be broadcast on WTAM-1100 and WMMS, along with the Indians Radio Network.
