Crown points

• The Royals have signed three more non-drafted free agents -- pitcher Jon Fitzsimmons of Canisius College, along with outfielders Dexter Kjerstad of the University of Louisiana and Chris Sweeney of Kings College.

The Royals have signed a total of nine free agents to go along with 28 players selected and signed from the First-Year Player Draft.
