Cubs activate right-handed pitcher Edwin Jackson
The Chicago Cubs today activated right-handed pitcher Edwin Jackson from the 15-day disabled list.
Jackson will make the start this afternoon against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Wrigley Field.
Jackson, 31, was placed on the disabled list on August 21 with a right lat strain. The righthander is 6-14 with a 6.09 ERA (94 ER/139.0 IP) in 26 starts this season.
