D-backs hoping to find answer at home

PHOENIX -- The D-backs are still looking for a home-field advantage.

The club entered play Monday 12-10 on the road and 3-13 at Chase Field this season. The record drops to 3-15 at home overall when the two losses in Australia against the Dodgers to open the season are included.

"We just have to keep the same attitude and play the same way we do on the road," D-backs manager Kirk Gibson said. "It's a good feeling. I know there is a lot of focus on the negative that has happened here, but this team has not bought into it. I've been very proud of them for doing that."

Arizona's 5.36 ERA at home entering play Monday was the highest in the National League, and second to only Houston's 5.45 mark at Minute Maid Park. The team's ERA on the road is 4.35.

"It's a great clubhouse atmosphere and commitment to stopping the bleeding and getting back on track," Gibson said.
