D-backs Langwell Reports to Club, Transfer Ross to 60-Day Disabled List

Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) right-handed pitcher Matt Langwell reported to the club today and the team transferred outfielder Cody Ross to the 60-day disabled list (dislocated right hip) to make room for Langwell on the 40-man roster, according to D-backs' Executive Vice President & General Manager Kevin Towers.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder has gone 18-15 with 17 saves and a 2.92 ERA (115 ER in 354.0 IP) in 234 appearances (9 starts) over 6 Minor League seasons in the Indians organization (2008-13). Langwell was selected by Cleveland in the 11th round of the 2008 First-Year Player Draft.
