D-backs partner with Jack in the Box for Legends Race

PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks announced today that they have partnered with Jack in the Box® restaurants as the presenting sponsor of the popular D-backs Legends Race. Fans in the winning section of the Legends Race will receive a complimentary Jumbo Jack® burger courtesy of Jack in the Box®. 

"Jack in the Box is a very creative brand in the way they promote their products and are a great fit with the D-backs," said D-backs President & CEO Derrick Hall. "I look forward to meeting their CEO, Jack, and to giving our fans yet another thing to cheer for during the Legends Race."

During each home game, D-backs Racing Legends Luis Gonzalez, Mark Grace, Randy Johnson and Matt Williams race along the warning track from the right field foul pole to the finish line at the D-backs' on-deck circle at the end of the fifth inning. The Legends Race, which began in 2010, is a fan favorite as Mark Grace has yet to win a race. After the race, fans are encouraged to join the Racing Legends at the Sandlot for the seventh-inning stretch.
