D-backs place Ender Inciarte on 15-day disabled list; Recall Danny Dorn from Triple-A Reno

The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) placed outfielder Ender Inciarte on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring and recalled outfielder Danny Dorn from Triple-A Reno, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart.

Inciarte, 24, suffered the injury in the first inning of last night's game at the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. In 63 games with the D-backs this season, he is hitting .287 (72-for-251) with 11 doubles, 2 home runs, 21 RBI, 9 stolen bases and 39 runs scored.

Dorn, 30, was hitting .426 (63-for-148) with 14 doubles, 4 home runs and 25 RBI in 39 games with Reno in 2015. He appeared in 12 games in his first stint with Arizona from April 21-May 9, going 3-for-9 (.333) with 1 double and 2 RBI.

Dorn, who made his Major League debut on April 21 vs. Texas Rangers, is a 2002 graduate of Diamond Bar (Calif.) High School, and was a member of Cal State Fullerton's 2004 National Championship team.
