Donaldson finished ahead of Baltimore's Chris Davis, who had 117 RBIs in 160 games. After that it was a pair of other Blue Jays, with Jose Bautista ranked third at 114 and Edwin Encarnacion fourth at 111.
"It was a good year, but this is the time of the year where it really matters, and I'm looking forward to that most," said Donaldson, whose team will open the AL Division Series against the Rangers on Thursday.
The 123 RBIs by Donaldson was tied for the sixth most in club history, and the most since Bautista had 124 in 2010.
