Dodgers' Frias struggles in Class A rehab start

LOS ANGELES -- Sunday's Class A rehab start for Carlos Frias lasted only two-thirds of an inning, providing even more motivation for the Dodgers in their search for starting pitching.

Frias, out with a lower back injury, was charged with two runs on three hits (two doubles), striking out one and making 24 pitches (15 strikes) in Rancho Cucamonga's 15-10 win at Inland Empire.

Zach Lee, who lost his Major League debut Saturday against the Mets, currently is in Frias' starting slot for the Dodgers.
