Dodgers outright left-hander Martin to Triple-A

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers outrighted left-handed pitcher Jarret Martin to their Triple-A Oklahoma City roster Monday.

Martin, 25, was designated for assignment last week to make room on the 40-man roster for pitcher Mike Bolsinger, who was acquired from Arizona.

Martin went 1-1 with seven saves and a 3.29 ERA in 46 relief appearances for Double-A Chattanooga in 2014. He was acquired three years ago from Baltimore in the Dana Eveland trade and has had flashes of dominance, but has 272 walks in 402 2/3 innings and in five seasons has never pitched above Double-A.
