Dodgers' Garcia uninjured in car accident

LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers reliever Yimi Garcia and his family escaped injury on Monday after their vehicle was involved in a one-car accident in their native Dominican Republic, the club confirmed.

The Honda Accord in which Garcia, his wife and daughter were traveling left the road and stopped in a gutter, according to a Curioso Digital report.

Garcia, 25, was 3-5 with a 3.34 ERA in 59 games for the Dodgers in 2015.
