Brewers, Miller High Life giving lucky winners a landscaping makeover

You know that one homeowner, the one with the perfectly manicured yard, never visited by weeds, turf like Augusta National, impossibly green?

Well, Brewers fan Todd Halverson's yard is now a lot better than that one.

He just won some major bragging rights, and it could mean some for you, as well.

The Brewers and Miller High Life on Tuesday gave the Waukesha, Wis., resident a ballpark-style makeover, courtesy of the Miller Park grounds crew. Halverson now has pinstriped grass, perfectly trimmed hedges, even an official Brewers logo prominently displayed.

They're only worried that Ryan Braun, Carlos Gomez or Norichika Aoki might show up and try to dive on it.

"What could be better than welcoming the warm weather with a fresh-cut lawn and the Champagne of Beers?" said Brendan Noonan, brand manager for Miller High Life. "We are thrilled to be working alongside the Brewers to celebrate the High Life with beer drinkers and baseball fans."

Halverson also received general landscaping tips from the grounds crew, a lawnmower and Brewers tickets. Want a similar treatment? Through the end of this month, legal drinking-age Wisconsin residents can go to brewers.com/highlifelawn and enter keywords found on specially-marked Miller High Life promotional materials or UPC codes from their packaging. Like Halverson, one winner will receive a home lawn makeover from the Brewers grounds crew, a pair of Brewers tickets to nine regular-season games and landscaping tools.

"We are fortunate to have the greatest fans who make Miller Park the best home field in all of baseball," said Brewers chief operating officer Rick Schlesinger. "This is a great way for us to provide them with a true home field of their own."
