• The Rays are inviting fans to their dogs to "Bark in the Park" day on April 21, when the Rays take on Oakland at 1:40 p.m. ET. This ticket package includes one seat for the dog owner and one for the dog in the tbt Party Deck, and one adjustable Rays dog collar for just $25. • By starting for the Rays Thursday, Roberto Hernandez ended a Rays' streak of 650 games in which no pitcher born outside the United States made a start for the team. Edwin Jackson, who was born in Germany and pitched on the final day of the 2008 season, made the last start by a foreign-born starter prior to Hernandez.

• Chris Davis, who dismantled the Rays with his bat during the Orioles series, tied the record for the most RBIs by a Rays opponent. Davis drove in 11 runs in the three-game series, as did Florida's Bruce Aven from June 4-6, 1999 at Tropicana Field.
