Fielder, Beltre need help on ASG ballot
ARLINGTON -- Rangers slugger Prince Fielder remains in third place among first baseman and Adrian Beltre is fourth among third basemen in the latest American League 2015 Esurance All-Star Game Ballot voting update.
Fielder, who came into Monday with an AL-best .343 batting average, has 1,794,589 votes and trails the Tigers' Miguel Cabrera (5,301,216) and the Royals' Eric Hosmer (5,777,363).
Beltre, who has been on the disabled list with a sprained left thumb since June 1, has 908,343 votes. He trails the Tigers' Nick Castellanos (923,589), the Blue Jays' Josh Donaldson (4,880,315) and the Royals' Mike Moustakas (6,505,248).
Fans can cast their votes for starters at MLB.com and all 30 club sites -- on their computers, tablets and smartphones -- using the 2015 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot until Thursday, July 2, at 10:59 p.m. CT. For the first time, voting is exclusively online, where fans may submit up to 35 ballots.
