DETROIT – The 2012 Detroit Tigers Winter Events will launch tomorrow and will be available through your very own home computer or mobile device. In order to give fans the feeling they are traveling through the caravan with the players, we’ll be updating our official Twitter (@Official_Tigers), official Marketing Twitter (@Tigers), official Twitter en español (@TigresdeDetroit), official Facebook (facebook.com/tigers) as well as our official Tigers Blog (tigers.mlblogs.com) on tigers.com with pictures, video and the latest updates from the Caravan and the first-ever Kids Convention!
The 2012 Detroit Tigers Winter Caravan is set for Thursday, January 19 and Friday January 20, and features an exciting lineup of appearances throughout Detroit and around the state of Michigan. Tigers personnel, coaches, players, broadcasters, DTE Energy Squad and Detroit’s favorite mascot PAWS will all take part in the journey across the region. Following the Winter Caravan will be the first-ever Kids Convention on Saturday, January 21 slated for the big stage at 11:00 a.m. at the Fox Theatre.
