FOX Sports KC to carry Royals down stretch

DETROIT -- Nothing like playoff fever to catch TV's interest.

The Royals and FOX Sports Kansas City announced the addition of three games to the telecast schedule, assuring that all of the team's remaining games will be televised as the playoff chase continues.

The games added are Sept. 22 against Texas and Sept. 28-29 at Chicago.

"We can't thank Jack Donovan and his staff from FOX Sports Kansas City enough for their effort in making sure our fans get the opportunity to watch the club play down the stretch," said Royals senior vice president of business operations Kevin Uhlich.

Although Fox isn't carrying the last two games of this weekend's series at Detroit, Saturday's game will be on the MLB Network and Sunday's game on TBS.
