Fredi gives Johnson another day of rest

PHILADELPHIA -- For the second straight game, third baseman Chris Johnson was not in the starting lineup. Johnson, who played in the first 10 games of the season, hit just .182 on the most recent homestand and is being given some rest.

"No, no, C.J. is fine," manager Fredi Gonzalez said. "I'm just giving him a couple of days off."

The 29-year-old Johnson, who hit .321 with 12 home runs and 68 RBIs in 2013, is hitting .244 with a home run this season.
