Fredi still working out post-break rotation

CHICAGO -- Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez still hasn't decided on a post-All-Star break pitching rotation other than right-hander Ervin Santana, who will start Friday against the Phillies.

Even though Julio Teheran won't pitch in the All-Star Game because he started Sunday, Gonzalez wants to wait before deciding when the right-hander will pitch again.

"With Julio pitching today, I'd like to give him a little extra time," Gonzalez said. "We want to give him an extra day or two; maybe plunk a left-hander in there and give him another day. But we'll see how it goes."

The only definite is that left-handers Alex Wood and Mike Minor won't pitch back-to-back games, as they've done recently.

"We are gonna split the left-handers; it's just a matter of where," Gonzalez said. "I just have to wait a day or two to see who needs the extra day and who doesn't."

If Teheran starts Saturday, then either Wood or Minor would start Sunday. If Teheran is pushed back until Sunday, then either Wood or Minor would go on Saturday.
