Gardy tossed for arguing balls and strikes

MINNEAPOLIS -- Twins manager Ron Gardenhire was ejected by home-plate umpire D.J. Reyburn for arguing balls and strikes during the third inning of Sunday's game against the White Sox.

With Adam Dunn at the plate and one out, Gardenhire was ejected from the dugout by Reyburn and came onto the field to argue with Reyburn after getting thrown out.

The White Sox scored five runs against right-hander Phil Hughes in the third, and Gardenhire didn't seem pleased with Reyburn's strike zone.

It was the second time this season that Gardenhire has been ejected, and the 69th time in his career.
