That's why fans are urged to tune into a half-hour special of the Phillies' WB Mason Behind the Pinstripes show, simulcast live on PHL17 and phillies.com, on Sunday, May 5, at 2:00 p.m. ET.
The reason: it's the only way to get an exclusive preview of the inaugural Phantastic Auction - an online, 11-day event which will give fans nation-wide the chance to bid on once-in-a-lifetime experiences with Phillies players and alumni, trips, memorabilia and many other unique opportunities.
And the best part: it's all to benefit charity.
The gamut of Phantastic Auction fan opportunities will be extensive - and fully revealed with help from players, other guests and host Scott Palmer during the Phillies' WB Mason Behind the Pinstripes show. The full list of 47 Phantastic Auction items will have something for every fan including clinics, golf outings and dinners with Hall of Famers, MVPs, Cy Young winners and All-Stars.
The Phantastic Auction will officially launch on www.phillies.com on Sunday, May 5, at 2:30 p.m., following the half-hour special of Behind the Pinstripes, and will be in partnership with SportsRadio 94WIP and Talk Radio 1210 WPHT.

The Phillies family - from the players, coaches, and their wives, to the alumni, ballgirls and front office staff - take great pride in giving back to the community.
Phillies Charities, Inc., the charitable arm of the Phillies organization, makes gifts to charitable organizations that serve a wide variety of needs, primarily in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, and particularly those serving the Greater Philadelphia area and the communities of its minor league affiliates.
Phillies Charities, Inc. raises funds through a variety of activities throughout the year, now including The Phantastic Auction. In 2012, due to strong fan support, approximately $2 million in grants were awarded to dozens of deserving charitable organizations.
The net proceeds from The Phantastic Auction will benefit Phillies Charities, Inc., and a portion of those proceeds will be contributed to the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association as part of the Phillies Phestival on May 16, 2013.
