Crick, Kickham slated to pitch in 'B' game

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Top prospect Kyle Crick likely will appear in Monday morning's "B" game against the Chicago Cubs in Mesa.

Crick threw a perfect inning in last Tuesday's intrasquad game but hasn't pitched in a Cactus League exhibition. The "B" game environment, which is invariably low-key, should provide Crick, 21, and the other younger Giants with a relatively stress-free setting in which to perform.

Crick was listed among the pitchers assigned to travel to Mesa along with left-hander Mike Kickham, who will start for the Giants. Kickham had been nagged by a minor thumb injury. No established Major Leaguers are slated to be in the Giants' lineup.
