Goldschmidt takes in Taronga Zoo

SYDNEY -- D-backs first baseman Paul Goldschmidt and a host of front-office executives visited the Taronga Zoo on Thursday prior to the team's workout.

The group got an up-close look at wallabies, kangaroos and a Tasmanian devil.

"It's a cool place," Goldschmidt said. "It's great to come here and see some different animals than we normally get to."

While Goldschmidt had to break away after a few hours, the rest of the group stayed behind to spend more time with the animals.
