Indians recall RHP C.C. Lee from AAA Columbus

The Cleveland Indians today announced the following transaction relative to the Major League roster:

Recalled RHP CHEN-CHANG LEE from AAA Columbus.

Lee is beginning his third stint with Cleveland this year (April 2, April 9-May 16). Around his two stints in Cleveland he has gone 0-1 with a save and a 4.13 ERA in 20 games (24.0IP, 25H, 11ER, 8BB, 28K) with the Columbus Clippers. He is coming off a nine June outings where he posted an ERA of 1.69 (10.2IP, 8H, 3R/2ER). With Cleveland he has not posted a decision and owns a 4.76 ERA in 13 games (11.1IP, 11H, 7R/6ER, 3BB, 11K) and has limited batters to a .167 (4-24) mark with runners on base. He assumes the spot of Zach McAllister, who was optioned to Columbus on July 15.
