Indians sign RHP Ryan Webb

CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Indians today announced the club has signed free agent RHP RYAN WEBB to a Minor League contract and assigned him to the Triple-A Columbus roster.

Webb, 29, owns a Major League career mark of 16-18 with a 3.38 ERA in 317 games (325.1IP, 331H, 122ER, 229SO) over the last six seasons with San Diego, Miami and Baltimore. He has appeared in at least 50 games in each of the last 5 seasons since 2010 and last season posted an ERA of 3.83 in 51 games with the Orioles (49.1IP, 50H, 21ER, 37SO). Webb was traded from Baltimore to the LA Dodgers on April 9 and was outrighted and released by the Dodgers today. He has yet to appear in a game in 2015.
